§ Design note
- 01Agricultural Heritage. The lighting presents Birkat Hanun as a rare surviving historic farm and residential estate, strengthening its identity as part of Netanya’s local heritage.
- 02Water Infrastructure Memory. Light emphasizes the remains of wells, water channels, storage elements, and the agricultural systems that shaped the site’s original function.
- 03Old & New Context. The design allows the heritage site to read clearly within its contemporary urban surroundings, creating a respectful dialogue between the preserved remains and nearby modern development.






§ Technical notes
- 01Heritage Structure Lighting. Lighting is planned to reveal the historic building, masonry, openings, and architectural details without overpowering the site.
- 02Aqueduct & Water Elements. Accent lighting supports the legibility of water-related remains, including channels, wells, and storage structures where present.
- 03Glare & Spill Control. Fixture aiming and optics are selected to reduce glare and avoid unnecessary spill light into adjacent public areas and landscape.
- 04Outdoor Durability. Equipment is selected for long-term exterior operation, maintenance access, and careful integration within a protected heritage environment.
