§ Design note
- 01Sacred Landmark. The lighting gives the church a dignified and recognizable night-time identity, strengthening its presence as a spiritual and historic landmark on the Mount of Olives.
- 02Dome & Silhouette. Light reinforces the church’s vertical composition and distinctive golden onion domes, helping the building read clearly from a distance.
- 03Stone & Detail. The design reveals the texture, depth, and architectural details of the stone facades while maintaining a restrained and respectful atmosphere.

§ Technical notes
- 01Exterior Lighting Only. The project scope focuses on the exterior architectural lighting; no interior lighting was included.
- 02Dome & Facade Illumination. Lighting is composed to highlight the domes, tower elements, facade openings, arches, roofline, and key architectural edges.
- 03Glare Control. Fixture aiming and optics are planned to reduce glare and preserve a comfortable view of the church and surrounding landscape.
- 04Heritage Integration. Lighting equipment is integrated carefully into the site to support long-term outdoor operation with minimal visual clutter.
