§ Design note
- 01A Town’s Gathering Place. In Dimona the mall works as a daily meeting place, so the lighting aims for an easy, welcoming brightness that makes the concourses feel open and social rather than merely functional.
- 02Orientation and Flow. Luminous ceiling panels and continuous lines of light lead shoppers along the concourses and toward the food court, keeping sightlines clear and the route easy to read.
- 03The Mall at Night. After dark, warm light along the canopy and refreshed landscaping give the mall an inviting street presence, so arriving in the evening feels as comfortable as the interior.

§ Technical notes
- 01Luminous Ceilings. Backlit stretch-ceiling panels give the main concourses a soft, even wash of light with no visible sources, raising the overall brightness without glare.
- 02Linear Lighting. Linear LED runs integrated into the metal-mesh ceilings and canopy soffits define the circulation and carry the light through both the interior and the covered walkways.
- 03Site & Exterior Lighting. The site works refresh the mall’s public edges — storefront canopies, paving, benches, and planting — with warm exterior lighting that extends the interior’s comfort outdoors.
- 04Visual Comfort. Diffused sources and warm-neutral color temperatures keep glare low on the polished stone floors and shopfronts, so the mall stays comfortable across long trading hours.
