§ Design note
- 01Urban Heritage Sequence. The lighting treats Jaffa Street as a continuous night-time route, connecting individual historic buildings into one coherent urban experience.
- 02Architectural Character. Each building receives a specific lighting approach according to its facade, material, ornament, historical role, and position along the street.
- 03City Identity. The project strengthens Jerusalem’s evening presence, highlighting heritage architecture as part of the public life, memory, and cultural identity of the city.

- 01Facade-Specific Lighting. Lighting solutions are adapted from building to building, emphasizing architectural details, facade rhythm, and historic features.
- 02Urban Infrastructure Integration. Fixtures are coordinated with building facades, light rail catenary poles, and municipal lighting infrastructure.
- 03Glare & Spill Control. Lighting is planned to support pedestrian visibility and heritage visibility while reducing unnecessary glare in the urban street environment.
- 04Public Coordination. The project requires coordination with municipal bodies, heritage stakeholders, private property owners, and public infrastructure operators.
