§ Design note
  1. 01Urban Connector. Light extends the park's role as a connector between neighborhood, university, and workplaces into the evening, keeping its routes legible and inviting after dark.
  2. 02Colorful Path System. Lighting follows the winding colored paths — the park's 'marmalade' — so the network of movement reads clearly across the open ground at night.
  3. 03Active Public Space. Even, comfortable light supports play, sport, and gathering across the lawns, the shaded pavilion, and the recreation areas after dark.
§ Technical notes
  1. 01Pathway Lighting. Lighting levels are planned for safe pedestrian and cycling movement along the park's paths, tracks, and open routes.
  2. 02Area Lighting. Lighting masts light the open lawns, playground, and sport areas, covering the larger spaces between the planted path corridors.
  3. 03Glare & Spill Control. Optics and aiming are selected to limit glare for park users and spill light toward the surrounding streets and buildings.
  4. 04Outdoor Durability. Equipment is selected for long-term outdoor operation, maintenance access, and the open, exposed conditions of a public park.
