HERO · LANDSCAPE & PUBLIC REALM · BEER SHEVA, ISRAEL
§ Design note
- 01Urban Connector. Light extends the park's role as a connector between neighborhood, university, and workplaces into the evening, keeping its routes legible and inviting after dark.
- 02Colorful Path System. Lighting follows the winding colored paths — the park's 'marmalade' — so the network of movement reads clearly across the open ground at night.
- 03Active Public Space. Even, comfortable light supports play, sport, and gathering across the lawns, the shaded pavilion, and the recreation areas after dark.

§ Technical notes
- 01Pathway Lighting. Lighting levels are planned for safe pedestrian and cycling movement along the park's paths, tracks, and open routes.
- 02Area Lighting. Lighting masts light the open lawns, playground, and sport areas, covering the larger spaces between the planted path corridors.
- 03Glare & Spill Control. Optics and aiming are selected to limit glare for park users and spill light toward the surrounding streets and buildings.
- 04Outdoor Durability. Equipment is selected for long-term outdoor operation, maintenance access, and the open, exposed conditions of a public park.
