Quarry Park Caesarea
§ Design note
  1. 01Reclaimed Landscape. The lighting supports the transformation of a former quarry into an accessible public park, emphasizing the site’s restored topography and renewed landscape character.
  2. 02Quarry Cliff Presence. Light gives the quarry wall a quiet but powerful night-time presence, allowing the cliff to act as a visual focal point and observation edge after dark.
  3. 03Walking Experience. The design clarifies paths, gathering areas, and viewpoints while preserving the calm atmosphere of the restored landscape.
§ Technical notes
  1. 01Pathway Lighting. Lighting levels are planned for safe pedestrian movement along walking paths and public routes through the quarry.
  2. 02Cliff Illumination. Controlled light reveals the scale, texture, and depth of the quarry cliff without flattening the landscape.
  3. 03Glare & Spill Control. Fixture positions and optics are selected to reduce glare and unnecessary spill light into planted areas and surrounding open space.
  4. 04Outdoor Durability. Equipment is selected for long-term exterior operation, maintenance access, and integration with the landscape design.
