§ Design note
- 01Reclaimed Landscape. The lighting supports the transformation of a former quarry into an accessible public park, emphasizing the site’s restored topography and renewed landscape character.
- 02Quarry Cliff Presence. Light gives the quarry wall a quiet but powerful night-time presence, allowing the cliff to act as a visual focal point and observation edge after dark.
- 03Walking Experience. The design clarifies paths, gathering areas, and viewpoints while preserving the calm atmosphere of the restored landscape.

§ Technical notes
- 01Pathway Lighting. Lighting levels are planned for safe pedestrian movement along walking paths and public routes through the quarry.
- 02Cliff Illumination. Controlled light reveals the scale, texture, and depth of the quarry cliff without flattening the landscape.
- 03Glare & Spill Control. Fixture positions and optics are selected to reduce glare and unnecessary spill light into planted areas and surrounding open space.
- 04Outdoor Durability. Equipment is selected for long-term exterior operation, maintenance access, and integration with the landscape design.
