§ Design note
- 01Restrained Presence. The lighting gives the walls a quiet, dignified night-time identity, revealing them gently without overpowering the historic fabric or the coastal setting around them.
- 02Between City and Sea. Light traces the long line of the walls between the old city and the sea, anchoring them as a central landmark in Acre's skyline after dark.
- 03Stone Texture. Restrained grazing light reveals the texture of the stone and the depth of the historic masonry, letting the walls read clearly even under gentle light.

§ Technical notes
- 01Stone Texture. Grazing and uplighting at the base of the walls reveal the stone texture and the depth of the historic masonry.
- 02Glare & Spill Control. Focused optics and shielded fixtures minimize spill and glare, keeping the sky dark toward the sea and protecting the coastal surroundings.
- 03Heritage Integration. Fixtures are concealed and discreetly integrated into the historic structure — present at night, unobtrusive by day.
- 04Outdoor Durability. Equipment is selected for reliable outdoor operation in a salty, coastal environment, with long-term maintenance access.
